“After working for Drew for 6 years, I’ve been a CEO at two private equity backed companies. To the extent I am good at being a CEO, I owe it all to Drew, for what he taught me about leadership and for the example he set.”

“Drew led by example. His hard work, integrity, honesty, and presence was an inspiring model that was always motivating to every employee to maximize their potential and contribution to the mission.”

“Drew’s ability to see 3 or 4 steps/levels above the rest of us is incredible. Time and time again, his ability to adjust before the market has always kept us a few steps ahead of our competition.”

“Drew and his organization have been the model for professional relationships.”

Warner A. “Drew” Myers is an entrepreneur and investor in the Greater Cincinnati area. His most prominent commercial venture was RecruitMilitary, LLC, a military-to- civilian recruitment firm. The company produces media and offers a range of services that help employers throughout the United States attract and retain high-quality military veteran talent. Myers founded RecruitMilitary in 1998; in 2013, he sold the company to a team of investors led by private equity.

Myers holds a BA from Indiana University and an MBA from Xavier University.  While at Indiana University, he was president of the Kappa Sigma fraternity. Upon obtaining his BA in 1986, he was commissioned a second lieutenant in the United States Marine Corps. He attended the 6-month infantry-focused officers’ school, graduating in the top 5 percent of his class. He then served as a platoon commander and later as an executive officer in charge of a 150-man artillery unit in various stateside and overseas assignments. Myers was also the aide-de-camp for Brigadier General Ron Christmas. Against his peers, he was ranked in the top three of all the lieutenants in the First Marine Division and, as a result, was augmented into the regular Corps in 1990. Myers also spent three years on recruiting duty, ranking first among nine peers in the eastern United States on numerous evaluations. He received the Navy Achievement Medal and the Navy Commendation Medal, and was initiated into the Honorable Order of Saint Barbara.

Myers left the service in the rank of captain and in 1994 joined a Cincinnati- based consulting company that specializes in the improvement of sales performance, providing professional services for many of the nation’s largest corporations. In just over two years, he was promoted from inside manager to national account manager, then to senior vice president of sales.

Myers left the consulting firm in 2000 to join Perot Investments, reporting directly to Mr. H. Ross Perot in Perot’s family office and dividing his time between Cincinnati and Plano, Texas. He served as vice president of business development for a project to explore the viability of an e-commerce business serving the military audience. In 2001, he completed his assignment with the Perot organization and began to devote all his efforts to RecruitMilitary.

After the sale of RecruitMilitary, Myers was the founder and Managing Member of Quantico Summers, an opportunistic private equity fund focused mainly on investments in real estate.  Myers is also co-founder and Managing Director of Foxhole Equity, a mid-market private investment firm based in Greater Cincinnati with interests in both operating businesses and real estate.   Myers is also the co-founder and Managing Partner of brightSTAR Communities, a partnership formed in 2019 for the acquisition and redevelopment of high-quality affordable housing communities in the U.S. Midwest and Southeast, and the co-founder of Diatom Aviation, a firm created to provide equipment-repair and assembly services to DHL, UPS and other global air-cargo carriers operating in Cincinnati, Louisville and other airport hub locations.

Myers serves on several boards including STACK Construction Technologies, Workhorse Brewing Company, and the Summit Country Day School.  He also spends time assisting military veterans in their transition to civilian life, young adults as they navigate careers and college, as well as time advising and coaching other entrepreneurs.

Myers and his wife Kim, a forensic psychologist, reside in the Hyde Park neighborhood of Cincinnati, and are busy remodeling a firehouse in downtown Cincinnati for their next residence. They have two children, Simon, an analyst with an investment banking firm in Nashville, and Zoe, a student majoring in fashion design and environmental sustainability at Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana.
